Zeel help with lockdown learning donating 40 laptops to local schools

Zeel Solutions donated 40 laptops split between two Midlands schools, Bantock Primary School, in Wolverhampton,and Heritage Academy, in Birmingham.

Zeel decided to donate brand new laptops to schools where children are struggling to learn during lockdown, due to having no access to technology at home.

Sandy Scott, CEO of Zeel Solutions said“Education is such a crucial part to a child’s development, and with teachers working so hard we wanted to do something as a business that could help children in these difficult times.

He added: “Hopefully this will help families,and contribute towards their children’s learning from home in a positive way.”

Shakeel Akhtar, Head Teacher at HeritageAcademy said: “We are all so grateful for the gift of laptops for students atHeritage Academy and we are profoundly touched by this act of generosity.

Aware that remote learning has become the norm for so many, Zeel recognised that not all children have the access to the technology needed to continue their education.”

Bantock Primary School Head Teacher, Harvey Sarai, said, “We have aimed to minimise one of the barriers to remote learning which has been access to the right technology for all our learners.

“We are grateful to Zeel Solutions who have supported us in this aim and kindly donated laptops for Bantock Primary pupilsto use whilst learning at home. It will make a difference to a number of our families who otherwise would have not had this opportunity to continue learning.”
