Will I have to employ my temporary workers to run travel and subsistence?

Most recruitment business traditionally send their temporary workers out on a contract of service, however to operate travel and subsistence you will need to give your temporary workers a contract of employment. The employed model is becoming more and more popular in the industry and all the companies offering travel and subsistence have been using them for many years. The over arching contract covers the worker of any of the assignments you send them to and turns them into a series of temporary workplaces, which then makes travel and subsistence possible.

With any employment contract there does come extra employment rights, but many of those rights are only applicable after certain qualifying periods, but you have to weigh up the potential employment risk over the substantial savings you can achieve.
