What will the agency workers regulations (AWR) mean to Travel and Subsistence?
Travel and subsistence could become more popular when the agency workers regulation (AWR) comes in to affect in October 2011. Many companies are exploring regulation 10, also more commonly know as “the Swedish derogation” as one of the options to protect them and their clients. Regulation 10 states that workers that are employed on a contract of employment are not classed as agency workers and are not bound by the agency workers regulation (AWR).
